About Us

Mayson Capital Partners, LLC (Mayson Capital) is a private investment firm based in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Mayson Capital’s core investments include convenience stores, restaurants, hotels, and a community bank. Other operating companies include a general contracting business, an urgent healthcare business, and a technology-driven self-storage business. Several of these companies drive growth in a commercial real estate portfolio that includes additional commercial properties and developments. Mayson Capital also allocates capital to venture investments with opportunities for disrupting industries and generating significant growth.

How We Capitalize Investments

We lead investments with our own capital. Additional funds are raised from a network of high net-worth individuals on a deal-by-deal basis. This approach allows flexibility with deal structures and tends to yield more patient capital while portfolio businesses carry out their business plans.

Why was the name ‘Mayson’ chosen?

The Maurer surname is of German origin and traces back to a large Austrian family who built walls and other structures with brick and stone. The name Mayson is an Old English derivative of the Maurer surname and was chosen as the name of this firm because of the genealogical association with our Maurer surname and because of the name’s origin in the building trade. We carry on our family lineage as we build businesses with our capital and other resources.

Affiliation with the Daniel Family Office

We have a close business relationship with the Daniel Family Office and John Daniel. The Daniel Family Office is focused on wealth preservation and follows investment strategies traditionally used with endowments. We share our offices with John Daniel and he participates alongside us as a co-lead investor in many Mayson Capital investments.
